Daryl Bamonte recalled in 2006:
"I can remember Dave coming to my flat in Basildon just before we went to the USA in March 1985 and saying that the Hollywood Palladium had sold out, so the promoter was booking an additional show "at some place called Irvine Meadows", and I couldn't believe it when we got there a few weeks later, a 15,000 capacity outdoor arena."
Andy Franks said in 2021:

According to Rocktourdatabase.com, this gig was also sold out (15,000 people).
Animotion and Book Of Love were the support acts.
