Andy Fletcher reported in the December 1986 issue of DM's Official Info Service Newsletter:

"The only minor disaster we had [during the North American tour] was in Washington D.C. where the electricity was cut off, luckily on the last beat of the last encore, "More than a party". It was an amusing sight to see the Security staff holding up lights and torches so the crew could pack away the equipment."
