Notes

For the last concert of the 1986 Black Celebration Tour, Martin played Somebody rather than "It Doesn't Matter Two".

Andy Fletcher reported in the December 1986 issue of DM's Official Info Service Newsletter:

"All [of the bad things that happened on this tour] was made up with the Danish gig. A large crowd made up of people from all over Europe made it a night to remember."

Public Panic, New Order and Talk Talk were the support act.

Dave's speech

Dave's end-of-tour "thank you" speech for the crew can be heard below.

Last time Christmas Island, Boys Say Go!, More Than A Party, It's Called A Heart, New Dress were played.

Photographic also was played last time until 2006 tour, 20 years later.

Sources

  • Source 1 is a superb audience recording, definitely one of the best from the tour. About a minute of Photographic was completed using a worse sounding audience source, but the recording is now complete.
  • Source 2 is Elly Apfel's good audience recording, sourced from a first-generation cassette tape.
