Depeche Mode's movie '101' is mostly shot at [[1988-06-18 Rose Bowl, Pasadena, CA, USA|the Rose Bowl]] but also contains brief shots from previous concerts on this leg of the tour. Upon closer inspection, it seems that the shot of Andy Fletcher making a girl faint by touching her hand happened at this concert. In the commentary track on the DVD of '101', Fletch says: "I paid that girl a few dollars to do that, I just saw her outside and bummed her a few. No, I must say, I could never believe I could have that effect on someone."

"I couldn't hit any high notes at all. Also, I had real trouble with the sound, because it was so hard, my vocals were so hard. I think that, when it's like that, you tend to sing out more, because there's no actual beat if it's loud, but you can't hear... It was really loud tonight on stage. But also, [I will have] a couple of days off, I am feeling really tired at the moment, so that's probably a lot to do with it as well. But it's nowhere near as bad as it was in [[1988-04-30 Cal Expo Amphitheatre, Sacramento, CA, USA|San Francisco]], I couldn't even speak then. But tonight I'm gonna have to do me steroids and stuff, puffer, I'm gonna do that tonight again. The stuff that the doctor gave me in San Francisco. You know, like someone who has asthma-attacks uses? But it's steroids, so it straight away hits your vocal cords and peps 'em up."
</blockquote>
