Notes

Pulse Of Radio is part of United Stations Radio Networks, which is "a radio network providing a wide range of programs and programming services for radio stations across the US and elsewhere." Several small radio stations have news via Pulse Of Radio delivered on their site. One of these news items is a short interview with Andrew Fletcher. The URL of this audio clip indicates that the file was uploaded in October 2002, although the interview is more likely to have been conducted in 2001.

Andy: I don't think we ever considered really that we was gonna last 20 years, 2 years, 3 years. I don't know... When we first started, we were just having fun. It was a gradual thing: we was on Top Of The Pops, a famous pop programme in Britain, and I was still at work at the time, which was a bit bizarre. That's what being on an independent label is about: so I did Top Of The Pops to about half of the population in that country, and I went into my work the next day.
