In 1988, Depeche Mode were in Japan for 5 days, and on the 20th on April, DM gave several interviews. In 2013, interpreter Steve Harris of Japanese magazine Rockin' On transferred his audio tape of an interview with Martin Gore and uploaded it on YouTube. The Box.com file below is from that YouTube upload.
