"Junior Painkiller" is an instrumental interlude from the 1997 album Ultra by Depeche Mode. It is derived from the B-side instrumental "Painkiller", which appeared on the "Barrel Of A Gun" single on 3 February 1997.
Notes
Tim Simenon said in the Depeche Mode special of Classic Pop magazine, published on 1 August 2019:
"Junior Painkiller" was Martin['s idea]. He liked the idea of a surprise, having the album creep up back in when you didn't expect.
