Notes

Since 2001, Martin Gore has been selecting obscure songs, usually of the minimal techno variety, to be played in the last hour before Depeche Mode appears on stage. Fans have attempted to identify these tracks, which was made easier once Shazam became available. Please note that sometimes Martin would swap one or more tracks with new ones during a tour, so if you attended one concert then you may not have heard all of these tracks for that tour. Below are the lists of these songs, sorted per tour, but with no internal order. This page is a work in progress and will be updated later.

2001 Exciter Tour

This mix has been released as a very limited CD-R promo named 'Electric Performer' by Mute Records to radios around Europe.[1] Depechemode.com presented a mostly complete list at the time[2]:
