This gig was originally planned at the renowned 'Alte Oper' ('Old Opera') in Frankfurt. After the tear gas bomb that had been used on 1984-12-11 Sporthalle, Böblingen, Germany, the municipality of Frankfurt did not want to risk the same thing happening in their opera and so they cancelled it just a few hours before the gig. Fortunately the organisers could shift the event to Offenbach's (a village adjoining Frankfurt) Stadthalle right away, delayed the concert for an hour, and moved all of the fans in giant buses.
