German journalist Marcel Anders always does a big interview with Depeche Mode for each of their album releases, and his interviews will then be used by many media either as audio or as text. He also tends to give an excerpt to Radio Eins first. So when Martin Gore and Vince Clarke were going to release their VCMG album 'Ssss' that year, this arrangement was no different. Marcel even got to interview Martin at his home in Santa Barbara, and see his studio. As for the actual interview footage in this excerpt, Martin talks about what his kids think about the music that he listens too, as well as about Dave Gahan's tumour in 2009.
