According to a former pupil from Lawrence Weston School, Tony Blackburn and Peter Powell from the Radio 1 Roadshow introduced the gig. This BBC radio schedule says that it was aired on October 19th, presumably live.
According to Jeremy Damsell, who was a pupil at Lawrence Weston School, the concert had no tickets as it was for pupils of the school only. He remembers the following songs being performed, not necessarily in this order:
According to an individual who has heard a recording of this broadcast on cassette shortly after the broadcast date, the content is as follows:
- Just Can't Get Enough
- Interview with Peter Powell & headmistress of the school
- I Sometimes Wish I Was Dead
The two songs are performed live.
Unfortunately, the owner of the cassette is unreachable. Hopefully, there is somebody else who has a recording of the broadcast.
