Formed in 1980, Depeche Mode are a prolific touring outfit with a history spanning four decades, having evolved from a group of Basildon youth playing local gigs with their keyboards balanced on beer crates to playing to a crowd of 66,233 at the Rose Bowl in 1988, later becoming an international touring phenomenon that would sell-out four back-to-back shows at the Hollywood Bowl in 2017.
