Now-defunct website DMSite.sk reported that there was a relatively large stuffed parrot on the right side of Christian Eigner's drumkit, and that one of Martin Gore's guitar strings broke at the end 'Personal Jesus' which resulted in a different musical note as he was playing.

On Tuesday we played Amneville which was very beautiful, yet in the middle of nowhere. We had about an hour drive from the airport to the venue, then after the show, we did a runner to Cologne. It was the same drive back, so one hour after the show, then once we landed in Germany, we had an hour and a half drive to the hotel, so all of us got in about 2:30 AM Wednesday morning. Talk about an exhausting day!
