Depeche Mode were advertised to be performing at a "Some Bizarre" event, though they never did perform and had no intention to. From the 9th May 1981 issue of Melody Maker magazine, an interview that took place backstage at 1981-02-26 Lyceum, London, England, UK:

"We didn't play the Bizarre evening here at the Lyceum," elaborates Dave. "We were never even approached to play it. It was only when we were advertised that we knew anything about it. We had no intention of doing it at all."
