A very good webstream recording. There's a bit of clipping, but it is not major. The songs contained here are from the TOTU tour rehearsals, because Wrong and Walking In My Shoes later appeared as bonuses on the "Tour Of The Universe" DVD. The interviews were likely done around the time of the original FM broadcast date of July 10, 2009. There was then a first FM rebroadcast on September 14, 2009, and a second FM rebroadcast on December 31, 2009 as part of a "Best Of 2009" series. This webstream version contains Come Back as a web-only bonus; it was not part of any of the FM broadcasts, but is part of the pre-FM CD source.

Note that there is a pre-FM CD source for just the songs (plus Come Back which was not broadcast, and minus the interviews), which unfortunately appears to be lossy, at Source 1.

Unfortunately, the recording appears to be Lossy-encoded based on spectrogram analysis.

And, the second FM rebroadcast from December 31, 2009, which mirrors this content, minus "Come Back" which was a web-only extra, is available at Source 2.

Of all three sources, Source 1 (the pre-FM) is the best sounding, because it does not have any FM radio dynamic range compression applied, it seems less lossy than the 128kbps MP3 webstream version, and it has none of the slight clipping that this webstream MP3 version has.
Among the three sources, Source 1 (the pre-FM) offers the best sound quality in my opinion, as it lacks FM radio dynamic range compression and appears to be less lossy compared to this 128kbps MP3 webstream version; neither does it suffer from the slight clipping issues present in this version.

Notes

A very good webstream recording. There is some slight clipping, but it isn't a major issue. The interviews were likely conducted around the time of the original FM broadcast on July 10, 2009. Following that, there was a first FM rebroadcast on September 14, 2009, and a second FM rebroadcast on December 31, 2009, as part of a "Best Of 2009" series. This webstream version includes Come Back as a web-only extra.

Please note that there is a pre-FM CD source, available as Source 1, which includes only the songs (plus Come Back, which was not included in the FM broadcast) and excludes the interviews. Unfortunately, the recording appears to be Lossy-encoded based on spectrogram analysis.

Furthermore, there is a second FM rebroadcast from December 31, 2009, which mirrors this content (excluding Come Back, which was a web-only outtake), and it is available at Source 2.

Among the three sources, Source 1 (the pre-FM) offers the best sound quality in my opinion, as it lacks FM radio dynamic range compression and appears to be less lossy compared to this 128kbps MP3 webstream version; neither does it suffer from the slight clipping issues present in this version.

The streams below have not been re-encoded; these are the same 128kbps MP3 files you can download in the archive.
