'Interlude No. 1 - Mission Impossible' is the first unlisted instrumental interlude to appear on a Depeche Mode album, consisting of an intimate mix of room ambiance, a dissonant woodwind rhythm, and a sitar-like instrument playing the chorus riff of 'Strangelove'. The interlude occurs at the end of 'Pimpf'.
