This template can be used to easily display a variety of information about audio samples within a song or recorded in a pre-formatted table. Samples are organized into sections: Self-made samples, for audio samples created by a member of Depeche Mode, and Sourced samples, for audio sampled by a member of Depeche Mode or an individual involved in the production of the music. Up to fifteen samples can be displayed per section.

How to use

The parameters necessary to using this template are as follows:

Required parameters

song - The name of the song the sample is used in.
artist - The name of the group who recorded the song.
releaseyear - The year the song was released.

Optional parameters

smsample1 - A description of the first self-made sample. Try to be descriptive without being too wordy.
smsample2 - A description of the second self-made sample.
smsample3 - A description of the third self-made sample.
...
smsample15 - A description of the fifteenth self-made sample.


smsnotes1 - The notes section for the first self-made sample. This section can contain any text you need to explain how the sample is used Feel free to include quotes where possible using <blockquote>.
smsnotes2 - The notes section for the second self-made sample.
smsnotes3 - The notes section for the third self-made sample.
...
smsnotes15 - The notes section for the fifteenth self-made sample.


ssample1 - A description of the first sourced sample. Try to be descriptive without being too wordy.
ssample2 - A description of the second sourced sample.
ssample3 - A description of the third sourced sample.
...
ssample15 - A description of the fifteenth sourced sample.


ssource1 - The source of the first audio sample. It is recommended to write this out as: 'Song Name' - Artist Name<br>Releaseyear
ssource2 - The source of the second audio sample.
ssource3 - The source of the third audio sample.
...
ssource15 - The source of the fifteenth audio sample.


sstatus1 - The confirmation status of the first audio sample. These are measured as: Disproven, Unconfirmed, Likely, Confirmed, or Officially confirmed. sstatus2 - The confirmation status of the second audio sample.
sstatus3 - The confirmation status of the third audio sample.
...
sstatus15 - The confirmation status of the fifteenth audio sample.


snotes1 - The notes section for the first sourced sample. This section can contain any text you need to explain how the sample is used Feel free to include quotes where possible using <blockquote>.
snotes2 - The notes section for the second sourced sample.
snotes3 - The notes section for the third sourced sample.
...
snotes15 - The notes section for the fifteenth sourced sample.


smsnumberofrows - This optional parameter is used only for aesthetic purposes. Insert the numeric value of the number of rows that you are using, and the template will automatically apply a rounding effect to the bottom right corner of the last used row in the Self-made samples section.

Bear in mind that the Self-made samples section appears above the Sourced samples section within the table. If you plan to display information within the Sourced samples section, you only need to use the 'snumberofrows' parameter.
