Notes

Dave Gahan told No. 1 magazine for their May 21st 1983 issue:

"The Japanese are weird [as well as the Thais]. They sit in total silence throughout the gig and then clap at the end. Very odd, but was lots of fun."

DM also said in the 1986 Star Hits Seriously Cool Scrapbook:

Dave: "When I think of Tokyo, I think of Alan. We call him Ethnic Man. He loves the place. People open doors for him everywhere."

Andy: "The first time we got there really late in the evening, and had a press conference the next morning and one of the first questions was "What do you think of Japan?" and Al did this long speech and he'd only been there ten hours! So he's our Japanese spokesman."

There was no support act.
