This was Vince Clarke's last concert with Depeche Mode.

This promotional show was filmed by Southern Television, on the behalf of the newly formed broadcaster Television South (TVS). A slightly edited version of this show was broadcast by TVS on 1982-01-18 , and exists as a Digibeta copy at the Wessex Film and Sound Archive, although it hasn't been catalogued in their online database.

Both the video footage and demuxed soundboard audio from the concert, reportedly sourced from a US Nickelodeon rebroadcast on July 2nd, 1983, are available to stream and download below.

In Jonathan Miller's book Stripped, Vince is quoted about this gig as saying "I did loads of speed and then I drove home."

Poet John Cooper Clarke was the support act for the entire Chichester Festival.
