Notes

Review of the concert in February 20, 1982 issue of Record Mirror magazine.

This was the fourth concert with Alan Wilder in the live line-up and the earliest recording available of the 1982 See You Tour. This concert was a double bill that also featured the band Talk Talk[1]. Talk Talk had released their first single, "Mirror Man", just five days prior.

This concert was originally broadcast on BBC Radio 1 FM on 1982-04-10.[1][2] Excellent sounding audio from a 2024 BBC audio webstream, as well as an excellent sounding FM broadcast master cassette recording and a digital satellite rebroadcast capture from BBC Radio 6 Music Live Hour on May 1st, 2010[3], captured in the highest bitrate possible, are available to stream and download below.

Sources

  • Source 1 is an excellent soundboard-quality rework, utilizing a 2024 BBC Radio 6 Music webstream broadcast with one song patched in from Source 2, resulting in a complete recording.
  • Source 2 is an FM broadcast recording sourced from a digital satellite broadcast captured in the original MP2 160kbps format. However, it is surpassed by Source 1 and is only utilized to provide Now, This Is Fun, which is missing from that version.
  • Source 3 is guesswho's excellent FM broadcast master recording. This is the best sounding and most complete capture of the analog FM broadcast available.
