Notes

A tear gas bomb was thrown during See You and the concert was cut short.

Hans Derer, press chef for Intercord, wrote in 1993:

""A bomb, a bomb, let's get out of here" - Dave Gahan was panicking like most of the 6,000 people who were gasping for air in the sold-out Böblingen sports hall and trying to reach the exits. A madman had detonated a CS gas bomb. "The emergency exits were opened far too late," remembers Martin. "It's a miracle that no one was trampled." Alan Wilder recorded the smoking inferno with his camcorder. Two dozen people were injured. We researched for Depeche Mode at which hospitals the injured were and sent flowers. For fear of further incidents, the concert scheduled for the next day in the Frankfurt Alte Oper was cancelled. The bomber was actually caught - he was an ex-German army soldier who wanted to play a bad prank."

Andy Fletcher stated in 2016:

"CS gas was once sprayed in Germany. We were playing an encore and suddenly we noticed that there was no one on stage and there was great chaos. It was really terrifying, because not only did panic break out, but many people ended up in hospital. Two of the cuprits were soldiers of the American army stationed there. Terrible stupidity."

Matt Fretton was the support act.
