Regarding the whistle during Boys Say Go! only being played at 1982-10-25 Hammersmith Odeon, London, England, UK, you seem to be correct. I checked all other available recordings from the ABF tour and no other concert had the whistle during the middle section. Of course, that isn't to say no other concert had the whistle, it just can't be proven at the moment. However, I can't discern if anybody is wearing a whistle or blowing the whistle during that point in the song, even on a high-quality video source. How did you come to the conclusion that Alan blows an actual whistle during that track?
Brackets vs no brackets for song names
In cases where song titles are within quotes on source pages (for example on 1986-07-23 NHK Hall, Tokyo, Japan/Source 1), it is because the songs are not part of the recording. The individual song pages know whether a recording is available from a date based on the presence of a link on the source page. If a song that isn't in the recording is mistakenly linked (using brackets around the song name instead of quotes), then the page for that song erroneously lists that recording as having the song available.
This is why I rolled back your recent edit of 1982-05-07 The Ritz, New York City, NY, USA/Source 1.
