According to fan Paul Lauria, there was a technical problem after My Secret Garden, and the show was put on hold for about an hour and a half before Oberkorn (It's A Small Town) was restarted. Ministry was the support act.
Martin Gore stated in the summer 1985 edition of a Star Hits special that, unlike the January 1982 [ 1, 2 ] and May 1982 gigs at the Ritz which were too full and "just about full" respectively, this night was "half full! It was getting worse every time [we played in NYC]!"
