Notes
Chino Moreno of the Deftones was in attendance. In 2023, he told the NY Times:
"I was pretty claustrophobic growing up, but I just fought my way through all those feelings, and made my way to the front barricade. And they came out, and I was just captivated by them. Dave in particular — just his stage presence. I can loosely credit me wanting to sing, and be in a group and make music, to that experience. It was larger than life for me."
Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark was the support act. Attendee James Larot said: "Why did so many people throw shoes at OMD that night? One shoe hit Andy [McCluskey] square on the chest. I never understood that. The field was littered with shoes after the concert. Weird."
