The Orange County Register reported one month later: "According to a Warner Brothers publicist, Depeche Mode sold only 1,000 of an available 10,000 tickets in Cedar Rapids, Iowa [...]". Two people in Facebook group 'You Know You Grew Up In Cedar Rapids, IA in the 70's & 80's Because....' confirmed that pretty much all seats were empty, and so there were only people in the standing area, "but it was awesome because everyone just sat on the floor and in between songs the band talked to the people and it was almost like a private show."
