Notes

BONG #20, issued April 1994, reported: "In Prague on June 18, while the photographers were taking their pictures during 'Never Let Me Down Again', and the fans - following Dave's example - were swinging their hands above their heads, Dave went to the front of the stage and shouted, "Give me the camera," several times. Nobody knew what was happening at first, but it became apparent that he simply wanted to take a few pictures of his own."

Toyen was the support act.

Here is Daryl Bamonte's entry for the famous Devotional Tour Diary, published in Bong magazine in 1994:

We had ANOTHER support band tonight. Local lads. Their name was “Sonic Smell”. Yes, you heard it right: “Sonic Smell”. I’m sorry, but not even 70 years of communism can excuse a band from taking a name that basically means “Humungous stench”. PHEW! [1]

  1. It is clear that this Hungarian band played as DM's support act in Budapest, but there is no conformation that they played in Prague as well, next to Toyen.
