Notes
A very good audience recording. Notes from a friend who contributed the tapes to aluche99 to transfer:
Recorded with a Panasonic Stereo recorder and realistic stereo miC. This was recorded directly in front of satellite speakers on a pole at the front center of the lawn. The miC setting I used was "wide stereo" and aside from a little crowd and one cut this is one of the best recordings of the tour. Back in the early 90's someone I traded with from goldmine pressed this show onto silver discs. Please note that toward the end of the show you can here people chanting "route 66'" these people were very drunk and started a bonfire in the center of the lawn out of the "fan" giveaways from the local FM station that were made of wood and paper - please see photo. There was a lot of hype and excitement for this show in Houston and this was the place to be if you were in your teens or early 20's at the time. I even recall that the Houston mayor dubbed the weekend "Depeche Mode Weekend"
