Notes

Excellent soundboard-quality audio. This is the fourth concert with Alan Wilder in the live line-up and the earliest recording currently available of the 1982 See You Tour.

All songs except for Now, This Is Fun are sourced from a February 2024 BBC Sounds segment called "Depeche Mode Live", of which the original M4A 320kbps file was captured and used for this rework. Frequency response goes up to 21KHz. Now, This Is Fun is sourced from a May 1, 2010 BBC6 digital satellite broadcast captured in the original MP2 160kbps format (available at Source 2) with decent frequency response going up to 15KHz. The audio has been exported to FLAC to ensure that no re-encoding was performed.

There are some flaws such as occasional slight distortion of bass due to what sounds like tape saturation, and the occasional small glitch (e.g. timestamp 1:10 during I Sometimes Wish I Was Dead). These minor flaws were present on prior versions as well, and they are even more noticeable with modern digital broadcasts which are far closer to the original source compared to an FM radio broadcast recorded on cassette tape. The disclaimer on certain CD reissues of Depeche Mode albums makes sense here too:

The music on this Compact Disc was originally recorded on analog equipment. We have attempted to preserve, as closely as possible, the sound of the original recording. Because of its high resolution, however, the Compact Disc can reveal limitations of the source tape.

The prior best source for this audio was a direct digital satellite broadcast capture of a BBC6 Live Music Hour segment aired on May 1, 2010, and is still available at Source 2.

Furthermore, an excellent recording of an analog FM broadcast sourced directly from a master cassette is available as Source 3.
