The World Violation Tour was an international tour undertaken by Depeche Mode in support of their seventh studio album Violator.
Infamously, no existing film footage or audio from the World Violation tour has been officially released. The band and management said that with the release of “Depeche Mode 101”, there was no need for another audio/video release so soon after the last tour.
Contrarily to this, their three-night stint in Paris 1990 was reportedly recorded for a live album release; as several fans reported seeing mobile recording units outside the venue.
