Scarling was the support act. Scarling's manager Daryl Bamonte explained how the group came to be a support act for Depeche Mode in 2006: "I asked the band and Jonathan [Kessler] if Scarling could support DM on tour], and they obliged!" Franz Ferdinand was also the support act.
