A very good audience recording of the first concert of the 1987-1988 Music For The Masses Tour. The crowd is very excited and lively, and this recording depicts that from the second that Pimpf begins. The treble is a little on the shrill side and the recording can sound sort of tinny at times.

Note that this concert had the extended 12" version of People Are People performed. This version would be played up through the seventh gig of the tour (1987-10-30 Palatrussardi, Milan, Italy); all later performances of the song during this tour match the shorter single version of the track.

This recording has been shared previously in speed-corrected form, but the speed was still too fast plus it made the audio very, very glitchy sounding. There's still some glitchiness to this recording, perhaps as a result of being a couple generations in lineage, but it is not nearly as bad as the previous available version of this recording. The speed should now be very close to matching the official "101" release overall.
