1986-03-31 New Conference Centre, Brighton, England, UK
Notes
The second concert of the 1986 Black Celebration Tour. This concert has the only recording with the album version of Here Is The House performed. Presumably, the first concert of the tour at 1986-03-29 Apollo, Oxford, England, UK also had the song played, but it has not been confirmed to date. The song was dropped by the next concert of the tour at 1986-04-02 RDS Arena, Dublin, Ireland. Here Is The House would next be played during the 1990 World Violation Tour as an acoustic guitar version with vocals sung by Martin.

A very short snippet of a rehearsal of Here Is The House, as well as several other tracks, can be heard at 1986-03-00 Black Celebration Tour Rehearsals, Nomis Studios, London, England, UK.
Hula was the support act. Pete Marchetto, Hula's manager, remembers for Simon Spence how Depeche Mode and Hula used an empty bottle before a concert in Brighton for a spontaneous "us vs. them" football match in the venue, while the crew was setting up the stage. "The strangest vision was Martin Gore playing with skin-tight trousers with handcuffs dangling from his belt and proving himself an alarmingly adept player. Largely to him, Hula were trounced."
Hula member Mark Albrow, also to Simon Spence: "At one gig - at the Brighton Conference Centre, I think - some jealous boyfriend managed to lob a pint of beer over him mid-performance. Afterward, Dave was upset and focussing on it. It struck me as stangely vulnerable."
Allegedly, Dave walked into the stage setup after bowing to the audience. (Perhaps he was still mad about the beer bottle?)
