This page lists all Depeche Mode concerts that were, unfortunately, cancelled.

The links below "Pages in category "Cancelled concerts"" (see second half of this page) show pages of concerts of which tickets had already gone on sale but then had to be cancelled, usually last-minute. However, some sporadic evidence shows that there also may have been some concerts that they were initially planned by the management/organizers, but were never actually really organised and never had tickets put on sale. Here is a list of concerts that may have been planned, but please note that some of these are based on claims by fans, and that this list does not contain concerts which were planned on one date but rescheduled to another date:

• 1984-03-05 The Sports Centre, Venice, Italy (Listed in Depeche Mode Information Service letter #3 1984: instead, Bologna got moved from March 6th to 5th, and Milan was added)
• 1984-03-07 ?, Naples, Italy (Italian fan Fabrizio C. claims to have read about this planned concert in a newspaper, when it was too late for him to attend it)
• 1984-11-2x ?, Rome, Italy (stated on official posters and t-shirts at the time)
• 1984-11-2x ?, Padova, Italy (stated on official posters and t-shirts at the time)
• 1984-12-1x ?, Stuttgart, Germany (stated on official posters and t-shirts at the time)
• 1984-12-1x ?, Frankfurt, Germany (stated on official posters and t-shirts at the time)
• 1985-08-03 World Festival of Youth and Students, Moscow, Russia (Fletch says here that DM was offered to play but they declined due to Dave's wedding on this date)
• 1986-07-07 ?, Seattle, WA, USA (listed in Black Celebration tourbook)
• 1987-11-17/22 Ahoy, Rotterdam, Netherlands (according to Dutch fan Ron G., this was cancelled in favour of Holiday On Ice at Ahoy; Rotterdam was listed in the tourbook that was sold during the first leg of the tour)
• 1988-02-22 Ahoy, Rotterdam, Netherlands (Dutch magazine Hitkrant reported that this planned concert was cancelled)
• 1988-03-09 ?, Brno, Czech Republic (listed in a UK itinerary; Budapest was chosen instead)
• 1988-03-10 ?, Ostrava, Czech Republic (listed in a UK itinerary; Budapest was chosen instead)
• 1988-03-10 ?, Zagreb, Croatia (listed in a UK itinerary; Budapest was chosen instead)
• 1988-03-11 ?, Ljubljana, Slovenia (listed in a UK itinerary; Prague was chosen instead)
• 1988-03-11 ?, Brno, Czech Republic (listed in a UK itinerary; Prague was chosen instead)

• 1993-07-22 Festhalle, Frankfurt, Germany (this tour list for the support act listed a second Frankfurt gig instead of this Cologne gig)
• 1993-07-24 ?, Hamburg, Germany (fans claim that at Forest National they were given flyers about a concert on this date; Zeebrugge was played instead)
• 1993-09-11 ?, Providence, RI, USA (stated on official t-shirts)
• 1993-09-11 ?, Amherst, MA, USA (listed in a US itinerary)
• 1993-09-12 ?, Buffalo, NY, USA (stated on official t-shirts)
• 1993-09-21 ?, Indianapolis, IN, USA (stated on official t-shirts)
• 1993-11-2x ?, Anaheim, CA, USA (stated on official t-shirts)
• 1993-12-09 Palais Omnisport De Paris Bercy, Paris, France (according to fans, this concert was planned)
