A second night in Hannover was announced on October 17, 2016. The attendance was around 42,000 people. During 'So Much Love', hundreds of fans held up heart-shaped balloons. Since this is the first consecutive concert of this tour, there were some changes in the setlist for the first time this tour: 'Shake The Disease' was played instead of 'A Question Of Lust', and 'Strangelove' was played instead of 'Somebody'. At the beginning of Strangelove, Martin Gore messed up the lyrics, and Peter Gordeno jokingly began playing the melody of 'Somebody'. Martin then commented that they had only rehearsed 'Strangelove' twice, and re-started the song. When Dave returned, he said to Martin: "You're the best!" 'Heroes' was not played and was also not listed on the final setlist sheet, and was not replaced by another song. After the final song, some fans shouted "Heroes!" to Dave, but Dave looked at them and pointed at his throat, suggesting that his voice wasn't fit enough to perform 'Heroes' that night. User Martini reported on the HOME forum: "At the end, Dave took a sheet of paper from a fan with drawings on it. He then gave it to Peter and Andy."
