Revision as of 20:11, 25 July 2015
This wiki offers streams and downloads for all circulating recordings of Depeche Mode's extensive live career. Tour and concert information is also provided.
All circulating recordings are slowly being added, usually in batches of an entire tour. All circulating recordings up to and including the 1986 Black Celebration Tour are currently streamable and downloadable via torrent. In addition, all circulating recordings from the 1997 Ultra Parties and 2003 "A Night With Martin L. Gore" tours are available.
None of these recordings contain officially or commercially released tracks. Only recordings of independent origin or recordings which had analog or digital broadcasts are available for streaming and download here. This site does not host any recordings directly, and hosts only metadata files for the recordings.
There is also an extensive interview section featuring full transcripts and audio streams where available, as well as background information regarding each interview. There are over 200 interviews currently available.
Set lists for most tour dates are provided as well, though information is lacking for many extremely early tour dates. Other media such as ticket scans, set list sheet photos, and pro-shot news snippets are also provided, where available. There is a list of dates with unconfirmed set lists, so if you can confirm the set list of a concert, please help out by filling it in!

- Some minor additions and an upgrade:
- 1981-06-01 Bridge House, London, England, UK/Source 2: FLAC version, but sounds worse than the MP3 224kbps version (at Source 1), ironically. Made available primarily for collectors.
- 1983-12-10 Musenaal, Mannheim, Germany/Source 1: Upgrade of the already very good audience recording involving speed correction, 260 pops and clicks manually eliminated from the last 17 minutes of the recording, and use of a slightly better sounding original source.
- 1984-06-02 Suedwest Stadium, Ludwigshafen, Germany/Source 2: 7-track French FM broadcast. DJ talks too much. Had to make it mono (right channel unusable), and quality doesn't beat the complete copy at Source 1, but it's still certainly listenable. Another recording made available primarily for collectors.
More to come soon - about halfway done with preparing the MFTM tour for the wiki.

- All circulating recordings from the 1986 Black Celebration Tour are now available to stream and download. Please note that it will be about 4 days before all torrents will be seeded, so load them up in your torrent client in the meantime and enjoy the streams. User registration has also been re-enabled. Update June 25: all torrents are now seeding.

- Added a fresh transfer of Elly A's 1st generation audience recording from 1984-12-05 Münsterlandhalle, Münster, Germany. Stream and download it here.

- Added a fresh retransfer of Brent Graham's good audience master recording from 1994-03-08 Tennis Centre, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia here: Source 1

- New additions:
- 1982-03-26 Metropol, Berlin, Germany/Source 1: upgrade; good audience recording, clearer and less hissy sounding version than the one previously available
- 1983-10-01 Apollo, Oxford, England, UK/Source 1: uncirculated partial audience recording, but pretty bad sounding; this one's pretty much only for the collectors
- May 19, 2015
- Stream & download a good sounding incomplete audience recording, previously uncirculated, from 1990-06-26 Blossom Music Center, Cuyahoga Falls, OH, USA here: Source 1

- Sorry about the slow progress! Some new recordings:
- 1981-09-26 Paradiso, Amsterdam, The Netherlands/Source 3: incomplete audience recording of the concert, still video-sourced but without the horrendous buzzing / ringing noise throughout. More muffled and hissy, but I still prefer that over the headache-inducing buzzing and ringing of the video soundtrack.
- 1984-03-06 Orfeo Music Hall, Milan, Italy/Source 1: reworked version of 38f's audience master, now speed-corrected with improved channel balance & dynamics
- 1987-10-22 Pabellon De Real Madrid, Madrid, Spain/Source 1: very good and properly speed-corrected, channel balanced second-generation audience recording from the first gig of the 1987-1988 Music For The Masses Tour
- 1988-04-29 Shoreline Amphitheatre, Mountainview, CA, USA/Source 1: very good audience recording, including Never Turn Your Back On Mother Earth
I am still working on having all recordings from the 1986 Black Celebration Tour available as well.
