Hublot partnership and charity support

Depeche Mode once again has partnered with Hublot to support charity efforts around the Memento Mori Tour. Depeche Mode has supported Teenage Cancer Trust and charity: water for the past 10 years along with Hublot and fans' support. A video which explained Depeche Mode's support of these charities as well as new support of the environmentally focused Conservation Collective and participation in Live Nation's Green Nation touring program was posted to the official YouTube account on June 11, 2023 and is embedded below. Additionally, the audio from this video was played at each concert after the support act's performance concluded.

An audience recording of this message from 2023-10-12 Kaseya Center, Miami, FL, USA can be heard here:

Transcript of Martin's message:

We are proud to once again be partnering with our friends at Hublot to support our charity efforts around the Memento Mori Tour. For the last 10 years, with Hublot's and your help, we've been able to support the Teenage Cancer Trust and charity: water, raising funds and awareness to support childhood cancer research, and to provide clean drinking water for people in developing countries.

This tour, we are turning our focus towards the environment. With Hublot again by our side, as our official charity partner, we'll be supporting a charity called the Conservation Collective. The Conservation Collective are a growing global network of twenty local foundations funding grassroots initiatives to protect the environment, restore nature, and safeguard against climate change.

We are happy to announce the first round of grassroots projects supported by this partnership, led by local NGOs [non-governmental organizations] and communities in Kenya, Italy, Sri Lanka, Spain, Cyprus, Greece, and the UK. Plastic Free Ibiza and Formentera, Plastic Free Beach Cyprus, Plastic Free Schools Sicily, Sin.Praxi Ionian Islands, Till the Coast is Clear Devon, Cleaner Seabeds Sri Lanka, and Kiunga Marine Reserve Clean-up, Lamu. To learn more about this partnership and the projects supported, please visit our website.

In addition to joining together to support the Conservation Collective, with Hublot's help, we'll also be working with Live Nation's Green Nation team to improve sustainability around the Memento Mori Tour. At tonight's show, we've already made efforts, both backstage and front-of-house, to reduce the use of single-use plastics, increase recycling, reduce food and other waste, and more.

And this is just the beginning. We appreciate your help in joining us in these efforts. For more information on our partnership with Hublot, or to learn more about the Conservation Collective, and to get involved, please visit DepecheMode.com. Thank you, and enjoy the show.

Conservation Collective issued a newsletter on June 20, 2023 regarding Depeche Mode and Hublot's partnership.

Furthermore, there is a subpage of DepecheMode.com dedicated to the Hublot partnership.

These recordings are highly recommended as they are generally regarded as some of the best recordings from this tour. This is not an exhaustive list of very good sounding recordings.

Notably, the prolific taper RyanJ has uploaded a total of 13 excellent audience/in-ear monitor matrix recordings from various dates during the North American legs of this tour. While we are unable to list all of them here, each recording is superb and is highly recommended for download. We, at the DMLiveWiki, sincerely express our gratitude to Ryan and Anonymous for their outstanding contributions to these recordings! A complete list of his recordings are available here.
